It seems that it is impossible to learn everything there is to know about digital transformation success. Although I have been an ERP consultant for over 20 years and recently published lessons from over 1,000 ERP implementations that I’ve been involved with, I am still constantly learning.
Other cases in point: recent SAP failures at Lidle and National Grid are two examples of how even the biggest companies can struggle with their digital transformations. Even the large system integrators such as Accenture, Deloitte, and Capgemini are not immune from these challenges.
This reality is why I started designing and facilitating ERP Boot Camp training workshops over ten years ago. These workshops were a great way to share digital transformation best practices, but I felt like something was missing. I felt that those ERP Boot Camp training sessions were becoming stale and too myopic in their focus, so we overhauled the format to create a more comprehensive and inclusive Digital Stratosphere conference event.

ToggleLearn about digital transformation best practices
Digital Stratosphere is the only technology-agnostic event of its kind. It brings together the world’s best digital transformation thought leaders and experts to provide a comprehensive agenda of best practices and lessons learned.
I, along with a number of other digital transformation experts, will present sessions on a number of topics, including:
- Frameworks to define the best digital transformation strategy for your organization
- How to objectively compare SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and other leading ERP systems
- How to effectively negotiate with ERP vendors and system integrators
- Defining the best digital transformation organizational change management strategy
- Ways to ensure implementation readiness prior to your digital transformation implementation
- How to provide quality assurance and risk mitigation during your project
For more details, the full agenda is posted on the Digital Stratosphere website.
Network with and learn from your peers
After facilitating technology-agnostic ERP training workshops for over a decade now, we found that people also want to learn from the battle scars and success stories of peers. With this in mind, Digital Stratosphere keynote speaking sessions are augmented with a number of opportunities to learn from peers.
For example, the conference includes:
- Transformation Q&A sessions with CIOs and project managers that have recently gone through a digital transformation
- Panel discussions with peer CIOs and project managers
- Happy hour networking to share ideas and best practices
- Networking opportunities during the Fleetwood Mac concert (see below for more info)
Enjoy entertainment at the event
We have found that people want to have fun when they learn. They also want multiple opportunities to network with peers and keynote speakers. This is why we combine an educational conference format with rock and roll.
The Denver event will feature a concert suite at the Fleetwood Mac concert at the Pepsi Center during their final tour. This will be an opportunity to enjoy an evening of rock and roll history, have fun, and network with conference attendees and speakers.
Receive consulting specific to your organization
Digital Stratosphere attendees have the opportunity for one-on-one sessions with keynote speakers. In addition, those who purchase a platinum pass receive an on-site workshop to be facilitated at and customized for your organization back home after the conference. This is an opportunity to augment the best practices learned in the conference sessions by providing specific guidance and input based on topics of interest to you.
